From the moment Gareth walks through the door of the salon to fit some new sinks, Jules can’t take his eyes off him. Jules has always been attracted to men who are his polar opposite, so burly Gareth is Jules’s fantasy man.
At the weekend, Jules gets into a tough situation with another bloke in a gay club and Gareth comes to his aid. Gareth rejects Jules’s subsequent advances but leaves him with the hope that his attraction isn’t completely one-sided. Fantasy could become reality.
With Gareth’s work at the salon nearly done, he’ll soon disappear from Jules’s life for good. Time is running out. Jules needs to prove to Gareth that he’s tougher than he looks and that his feelings run deeper than gratitude.

This review was first posted to the Gay.Guy.Reading and Friends blog online.What a pleasure it was to read this Novelette. Jay Northcote is becoming a favorite of mine as she tells stories that make sense, that are realistic and romantic. This book is no different.
A real enjoyment I received with this story was how at ease the characters quickly became with each other. They spoke of the past with each other and they both acted natural, at least it felt that way with the characterizations the author gave me. They talked about difficult past experiences with no regret, and they felt at ease with each other so they could jokingly have fun with what they wanted to do with each other. It was this camaraderie that bound this story and made it so enjoyable.
Jules the lovable twink likes his men a bit older and hairier, Gareth the plumber hired to install new sinks in the hair salon pretty much ticks all of Jules boxes. The courtship is really sweet, Gareth seems to be the perfect man for Jules and Gareth is extremely smitten with Jules so they fit really good together. I liked that the characters were looking for more than a quick hookup (although Jules could have settled for that), Gareth was looking for something more and Jules quickly jumped on board with it. The sex scene was really good, Gareth was gentle but also gave Jules what he needed. The scene really showcased the feelings that the characters felt for each other.
I gave book a rare 5 star for a story of this length but it would have been unfair to give it anything less. The author did everything right in this story, the story line was smooth, the characterizations were spot on, I was able to envision the physical looks of the characters and the author also opened up the characters emotional sides which really rounded out the characters for me. As I stated earlier the relationship building and the sex was beautiful. The ending was perfect, it left me as a reader fulfilled.

Cute, romantic love story! Short and sweet, it hit the spot for a funny and pick me up kind of read. I really enjoyed this story!
The bear and the stylist meet in a hair salon, further their acquaintance in a bar and follow it up with a rescue, dinner and dessert!
Super sweet ending!
"All Man" is another great story from Jay Northcote. It's a sexy, fun romantic novelette that tells an engaging story of how Jules and Gareth meet and fall for each other. Lovely story!
This is a cute novella with really likable characters and fun flirting. It would have been fun to see the love story play out a bit more but it is a nice afternoon read.
You first meet Julian in Top Me Maybe but you don't really need to read that book firsts. Of course it's an amazing book so you really should read it at some point.
Juls is a sweet guy looking for a big teddy bear to call his own. It was wonderful to watch Juls and Gareth come together.
This was a short story, but I didn't feel like I missed out on anything like you sometimes do with a short and It was very well written.
Jay is an amazing storyteller and I look forward to reading more of her work.
Love the cover of this one. Jules was in the first book of this series as a side character and I instantly wanted to know more about him. He's young and stupid at times but he is also sweet and kind. I enjoyed his banter with his best friend Tyler. I liked that he looked at Gareth and saw someone worth pursuing. Gareth impressed me with his chivalry and kindness.
